YAY!! Solved: the mysterious case of the disappearing comments feature at the end of my posting 3 ago ... suddenly wthout warning the comments feature just disappeared - it was still in the template, just disappeared from the main display ... but now I've discovered the "post options" dropdown menu at the bottom of the posting box that strangely set itself just on that particular posting to "hide comments" ?!
So now that's fixed & I'm happy again! :-)

I'm using this blog to keep track of my thoughts and reflections on the changes I'm making to my teaching online, their effects, and possible options as I go along. This is the third semester I'm running this course in this blended mode, and I'm implementing some more of the changes suggested or requested by students over the last 2 semesters.

Yes it's so annoying when something goes wrong in Cyberspace... or computer space for that matter.
I knew you wouldn't let it beat you.

Hello Debra,
Hope all is well at your conference. Apologies for not coming online yesterday. When I tried to start my computer I had no power. After 3 or 4 frantic hours I found a computer repair man who would look at it on a Saturday... and fortunately he had a power box he could fit to my computer... It had blown a capacitor... only 14 months old mind you! See you when you get back.
Regards
Susan
